Letter Two – Weirdness In Nature

Dear Reader:

When you walk in the woods and stop to look around, you quickly find odd shaped trees, gnarly branches, and a seemingly endless abundance of variety in rocks, leaves, grass, and dirt. So much diversity and imperfection to come together to make, well, a kind of perfection. You also may find some seriously weird objects or manmade things, like a fire hydrant

or a swing(?)

And it is this weirdness that makes every hike unique and beautiful. But only if you look around for it.
